Welcome Ms. Avery Tompkins to McGraw High School as the new 7th and 8th grade Math Teacher. Ms. Tompkins received her bachelor's degree from SUNY Cortland in 2021, and recently completed her master's degree at Binghamton University in December of 2023. She taught at Afton Central School District near Sidney, NY this past school year.
Ms. Tompkins is from Apalachin, NY, but is currently living in Kirkwood, NY. She is a newlywed (soon to be known as Mrs. Szabo) whose husband is in the Air Force. Ms. Tompkins says, “Most of my hobbies involve my dog, Ruby. We love to go on long walks together at the park, or go hiking.” She also enjoys traveling and exploring new places. An interesting fact is that she has gone skydiving four times!
